Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii could yet face Ireland in Dublin on next weekend despite being forced off the pitch after just 30 minutes

Joseph Sua’ali’i, the new star of Australian rugby, has been forced off the field because of an injury after a half-hour of the test match against Scotland.

The Wallabies have cleared centred Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii of any major damage to his arm as he pushes his case to be fit for Sunday's (AEDT) final Test of 2024 against Ireland.

To cap a chastening day, the Wallabies were left fretting over an arm injury to superstar cross-code centre Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, who, on his second start, went off clutching his wrist after handing out a hit on Tuipulotu, which the Scottish captain described as “humungous”, late in the first half.

The Wallabies are denied the chance of completing a rare grand slam after falling 27-13 to Scotland, while high-profile recruit Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii leaves the field with a potential tour-ending injury.

Wallabies centre Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii’s Spring Tour is in danger of being over after the centre picked up a wrist/arm injury during the match to Scotland. Suaalii returned to the starting side for the first time since his memorable debut against England.
