Indian Premier League (IPL) legend Shikhar Dhawan hit his maiden Nepal Premier League (NPL) half-century on Wednesday (December 4, 2024) as Karnali Yaks dragged themselves to a total of 149/5 in 20 overs against Kathmandu Gurkhas in Kirtipur.

Shikhar Dhawan did not have a great start to the Nepal Premier League as he was dismissed for just 14 runs in the first match. The veteran cricketer though bounced back in style and slammed a brutal half-century.

Shikhar Dhawan is the only Indian name in the inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League. Dhawan is playing for Karnali Yaks in NPL 2024.

Former Indian opening batter Shikhar Dhawan endured a disappointing start in his maiden outing in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Dhawan was dismissed by Canadian off-spinner Harsh Thaker in the third league-stage match between Janakpur Bolts and Karnali Yaks.

Shikhar Dhawan had a poor outing on the Nepal Premier League debut as he was dismissed for just 14 runs in the first game for Karnali Yaks against Janakpur Bolts.

Shikhar Dhawan made his debut for the Karnali Yaks and scored 14 runs off 14 balls with three fours against Janakpur Bolts in Kirtipur on Monday.
