Stellantis has recalled more than 317,000 of its Ram pickup trucks due to potentially deadly brake problems, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced.

Ram has just recalled more than 300,000 units of its Heavy-Duty pickup line. Some 2017 and 2018 model year Ram HD trucks could experience a hydraulic control unit failure that could leave them without ABS, stability control, or traction control.

Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, and Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 Cab Chassis trucks due to the risk of an antilock brake (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and traction control system failure.
