NASSAU, Bahamas — Eight wasn’t enough for Scottie Scheffler. With birdies on three of the first four holes on Sunday, he assumed the lead and cruised to a six-stroke victory over Tom Kim at the 2024 Hero World Challenge for his ninth win of the year.

Scottie Scheffler capped one of the most dominant seasons in golf history by retaining the Hero World Challenge, cruising to a six-shot victory at Tiger Woods’ invitational event in the Bahamas.

He started the day one back, although had the tournament on ice over the final holes. In reality, the issue was never in doubt as soon as his name appeared in the field.
