A 53-year-old man is dead after a Friday night shooting in the 14900 block of Chamberlain Court, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

After the suspect refused to put his gun down, a deputy shot him where he died on the scene, according to authorities.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was involved in a shooting in the 14200 block of FM 2769 Tuesday evening.
