Europe's largest tour operator TUI on Wednesday reported a boost in profit in the 2024 financial year and projected further growth into 2025 as it bolsters its holiday business to meet rising demand.

Travel giant TUI said annual operating profit jumped by more than a third and said it expected more growth next year driven by expanded capacity in its holiday business to meet demand.

Europe's largest tour operator TUI on Wednesday reported higher profit in the 2024 financial year and projected further growth next year, albeit at a slower pace than in 2024, buoyed by its holiday business.

Chief financial officer Mathias Kiep also highlighted TUI Group’s return on invested capital, where its cruise operations delivered a “very strong performance” that was better than 2019 for the first time.
